Case reports are not eligible and will not be reviewed.
Encore abstracts (previously published or presented) may be submitted but will be evaluated based on their relevance and novelty.
Abstract Categories
Basic Research
Investigates fundamental mechanisms of biology, disease or behavior (in vitro, in silico, animal models).
Translational Research
Connects basic science of disease with human medicine. Models interventions to further understand the basis of a disease or disorder and find ways to treat it. May utilize human or animal tissues.
Clinical Research
Seeks to better understand a disease in humans. Behavioral and observational studies; interventional studies for safety and effectiveness in those with or without disease; and outcomes and health services research.
Systematic Literature Review
A systematic literature review identifies, selects and critically appraises research in order to answer a clearly formulated question.
